  • What’s the best way to pack my backpack? none
    • Packing correctly increases the comfort when carrying. The aim is to carry the weight over long distances in the most comfortable way possible. The JACK WOLFSKIN rucksack suspension systems have exactly what’s required to achieve this aim. Yet the right packing of the rucksack also plays a major role. By distributing the weight correctly inside the compartments, the level of comfort can be increased considerably.
    • The illustrations below show the various zones for the different weight categories of luggage. Here, a distinction must be made between a ventilated carrying system and a body-contact carrying system.
    • Rear-ventilated suspension system:

      none
    • Close-contact suspension system:

      none
    • Heavy items, such as food or books, should be placed close to your back. Avoid empty spaces in the pack sack and objects attached to the outside of the bag for maximum carry comfort. Make sure you don’t put overly large items in the mid-back area. The space between the back mesh and pack sack should not be restricted at any time, in order to ensure optimum ventilation.
  • What do I do if my backpack becomes damaged whilst I am traveling? none
    • Buckles:

Be careful with buckles, as stepping on them, getting them caught on or trapped in things, such as a car boot, can lead to invisible weak points. If you are using your rucksack for a prolonged period of time, take replacement buckles with you that can be attached to the straps without the need for sewing.
    • Tears:

You can seal any tears in the pack sacks by using fabric tape. You can use a pair of pliers to lightly pinch the slider so that the zip fastens again reliably.
    • It goes without saying that you do not want to be weighed down with any unnecessary items when on a big adventure. Please do not dispose of your product. Please understand that we can only process a complaint if we receive the respective product to review.
    • Please note that the complaint procedure depends on where you bought the item in question.

  • It is starting to rain. How do I protect my pack? none
    • Although the materials used for our packs are coated, some moisture can enter through seams or zips.
For prolonged periods of rain, use a rain cover or waterproof inner bag.
  • Can I wash my pack in the washing machine? none
    • No! Never machine wash your pack and do not use stain removers! This can lead to damage of the coating!
    • Cleaning:

Use a soft sponge and the UNIVERSAL CLEANER PLUS in order to clean the fabric of your pack/bag or a mild soapy solution.
    • Drying:

It is extremely important to allow the pack to dry thoroughly after cleaning before it is packed and stored again, in order to prevent mold and mildew.
