How to Measure

To calculate your own back length, measure from the shoulder to the upper edge of the pelvic bone.

When selecting your backpack size, there are two important criteria to consider: capacity and back length. On all Jack Wolfskin backpack models, the greater the back length, the larger the capacity of the main chamber. We give the back length for backpacks that are primarily used for treks of one or several days.

You can find the back length next to the product description on the product page of each backpack. Backpacks with "WOMEN" in the name indicate that the suspension system is designed for women, as opposed to our unisex models.

Four ultra-flexible and simultaneously dimensionally stable panels are created thanks to the innovative 3D printing process. The result is a cell structure with numerous fine struts and varying degrees of firmness. This results in adapted multi-zone absorption and ensures optimal load distribution.

The generous lattice patterns on the new 3D panels greatly improve ventilation, significantly reducing back temperatures.
The new technology minimises waste and conserves resources, and the ultra-light, tear-resistant CROSS RIP 70D fabric made from recycled synthetic fibres ensures this backpack is both robust and durable.

The volume of the main compartment can be easily adjusted thanks to the convenient roll-top fastener, while a side zip gives you quick access to the interior. In addition, numerous attachment loops, two side pockets, a separate zipped compartment and a pocket on the hip belt provide plenty of space for your gear.
