How to Measure

To calculate your own back length, measure from the shoulder to the upper edge of the pelvic bone.

When selecting your backpack size, there are two important criteria to consider: capacity and back length. On all Jack Wolfskin backpack models, the greater the back length, the larger the capacity of the main chamber. We give the back length for backpacks that are primarily used for treks of one or several days.

You can find the back length next to the product description on the product page of each backpack. Backpacks with "WOMEN" in the name indicate that the suspension system is designed for women, as opposed to our unisex models.

The SNUGGLE UP back system distributes the load evenly and the wide shoulder straps make the pack very comfortable to carry. The large main compartment has a handy clip for keys.

If your child gets caught in a surprise shower and needs a change of clothes, the damp items can be stowed in the mesh front pocket. The upper front compartment is padded to keep fragile items like glasses safe and sound.
