The ORBIT 28 PACK RECCO is a practical pack for long days out in the backcountry. With the advanced back ventilation that is the hallmark of the ACS back system, the pack is very comfortable to carry, whether you're on easy trails or demanding paths. The pack is equipped with a RECCO chip that makes it easier for the rescue services to locate you in an emergency.
There's no need to register your details anywhere as it just works automatically. And it's completely maintenance-free. A growing number of search and rescue organisations are already equipped with RECCO detectors. The current geographic coverage includes most of the Alps, and the system is also widely used in Austria, Scandinavia, the USA and Canada.
The ORBIT 28 PACK RECCO has various practical packing options. There is plenty of room in the main compartment and base compartment for your hardshell, snacks, etc. Small items can be stashed in the easy-access lid compartment or the front pocket. And there are two additional pockets on the waist belt for your energy bars and water bottle. The right-hand pocket can be converted to a bottle pocket: simply undo the zip and unfold the mesh pouch. An elasticated retainer loop in the pocket holds the bottle securely in place.
The packs in the ORBIT RECCO series provide the perfect combination of comfort, mobility and excellent ventilation. The ACS back system makes the pack comfortable to carry on demanding terrain. The only contact point with your back is the air permeable mesh, and there is a gap between it and the body of the pack. This allows fresh air to circulate.

ACS – Air Control System
100% PFC-free - PFCs (per- and poly-fluoride chemicals) are substances used on the surfaces of items to give them water-repellent or fat-repellent properties, which is the reason they are mainly used in waterproof trousers and jackets.
